PROPOSAL PHOTOGRAPHER — LAKE TAHOE & YOSEMITE

The ring, the timing, the place you keep picturing it happening. You don't need a photographer who just shows up. You need someone who helps you plan it, then disappears until the moment you need them.

This is a moment you only get once.

WHY HIRE SOMEONE FOR THIS

Capturing a surprise proposal at Bridalveil Falls in Yosemite, with her partner kneeling before a rainbow at the base of the waterfall
Couple sitting on the hood of their Jeep at Tunnel View in Yosemite, mountains and forest framing the scene

You could try to capture it yourself — a friend with a phone, a tripod propped against a rock, hoping the angle works out. Most of the time, it doesn’t. The light’s wrong, the framing’s off, or worse, she notices the camera before she notices you kneeling.

You’ve thought about it for weeks, maybe longer. The way she’ll look at you. What you’ll say. Whether your hands will shake.

You shouldn’t also have to think about whether someone caught it.

Four steps, and only one of them is yours.

HOW THIS WORKS

01

You tell me about your vision

Not just logistics — what would feel like the two of you. That’s how I find the right spot and the right angle before you ever show up.

02

We plan it together

The location, the timing, the story you’ll tell her to get there without raising suspicion. I know which overlooks hold up in photos and which ones get crowded by golden hour.

03

I disappear

You walk in like it’s any other day. I’m already positioned — far enough back that she won’t notice, close enough that I won’t miss it.

04

You ask the question

That’s the only part that’s yours to carry. Everything else has already been handled.

LOCATIONS

Somewhere quiet, away from the crowds.

Man proposing to his partner on a rocky Lake Tahoe overlook, surrounded by greenery with the lake and mountains in the background

Lake Tahoe

Quiet overlooks, lakeside trails, spots away from the crowds.

Man kneeling in proposal on a rocky overlook at Taft Point in Yosemite at sunset, golden light stretching across the mountains

Yosemite

Valley viewpoints, granite ledges, places that don’t show up on every map.

Have somewhere else in mind? Tell me. If it’s reachable, we’ll plan around it.

PROPOSALS

You ask. I stay out of sight.

Tell me where you're picturing it, and I'll help you choose the spot, the time, and where I'll wait. Choose photos only, or photos and video if you want to hear the answer again. Both are available in Lake Tahoe and Yosemite.

A FEW THINGS YOU MIGHT BE WONDERING

Before you reach out.

YOU’VE THOUGHT ABOUT THIS ENOUGH

Let’s plan it.

Tell me about vision, the place, and the date you’re circling. I’ll help with the rest.
