Lake Tahoe Engagement Photographer

Guided, unhurried, and easy — even if you’ve never done this before. I’ll tell you exactly where to stand, what to do with your hands, and when to just look at each other. You show up. I handle the rest, from the location to the poses to the photo you’ll actually send out as your save-the-date.

THE PART EVERYONE WORRIES ABOUT

You Don’t Have to Know How to Pose

Most people haven’t stood in front of a camera together before, and it shows the second someone hands them a spot and says “look natural.” You don’t need to figure out what to do with your arms or how to smile without it looking forced. I’ll walk you through the whole hour — where to stand, how to move, what to do next — so it feels less like a photoshoot and more like a walk at Tahoe that happens to end with photos you’ll actually love.

A WORRY I HEAR A LOT

“We’re Not Photogenic. We’re Going to Look Stiff.”

That’s almost always a direction problem, not a you problem. Left to figure it out on your own, most couples do look stiff — because nobody told them what to do. I give you small, specific things to do the whole time: turn this way, walk here, laugh about that. You’re never standing there wondering what happens next, so you never look like you’re wondering.

Who You're Working With

I’ve spent years learning Lake Tahoe well enough to know where the light works at any hour and which spots photograph well without a crowd behind you. That’s half the job.

The other half is guiding you through it — clear direction, real prompts, nothing left for you to guess at. I shoot film and digital, so what you get back is warm, real, and ready for a save-the-date, an album, or both.

Everything Included in Your Lake Tahoe Engagement Photos

Guidance, Not a Script

I keep it easy — a little guidance to get you started, then I let the two of you take over. Enough direction that you're never standing there wondering what to do, but not so much that it stops feeling like you.

Photo, with 35mm Film as an Add-On

Every booking includes a full digital set, ready for a save-the-date, an album, or both. If you want the warmth and depth 35mm brings to Tahoe's alpine light, film is available as an add-on.

Location Guidance, Included

I choose the spot based on the season, the light, and how you want the photos to feel — quiet ridgeline, lakeside golden hour, or somewhere with a Tahoe backdrop that reads well in print. You don't have to research locations yourself.

Simple Pricing, No Guessing What's Included

Want film added to The Moment? Add it for $250 for 2-3 rolls of film
